I’m Lukas — originally from the Czech Republic, now living on Tenerife with my family.
After years in Thailand, Bali and Europe, we chose this island for its nature, freedom and climate.
But moving here wasn’t simple. Legalities, areas, microclimates, humidity, rentals… we learned it all the hard way.
Today, I help Europeans understand the island better: the neighborhoods, the lifestyle, the hidden issues and the process of finding the right home.
We moved to Tenerife in 2022 with our kids, dog, in campervan with zero experience of the island.
And since then, we have:
🚌 lived first in a camper for 2 months on the south of the island
🏔️ bought a house in the mountains on the north side
🛠️ renovated, lived there, and sold it later
🌴 bought a banana finca on the coast and built tiny home - place to truly live
🏡 built a home on the north coast, created glamping spaces and small community
👨👩👧👦 helped other families find housing
📑 guided people through all the paperwork and bureaucracy
🔎 learned the ENTIRE bureaucracy
